Spotlight Break Out Session: Adverse Incident Reporting and Prevention of Medical Error

Presented by: Jacqueline Root (Pennington Law Firm)

This session will provide a review of medical literature showing a reduction of medical errors from changed adverse incident reporting culture. The presenter will provide examples of policies and procedures that support a changed culture. Attendees will learn baseline reporting habits and techniques that support overall medical error reduction.
