Virtual care platforms are now the mainstay of telehealth and have become an indispensable tool in the healthcare arena.  Providing remote delivery of medical care has the potential to significantly improve outcomes and the financial performance of healthcare systems but comes with legal challenges. This presentation will provide insight on the legal implications of telemedicine including regulatory issues and developments, liability, and reimbursement.
