FSHRMPS recognizes that making presentations is a powerful tool for professional development. It provides opportunities to connect with colleagues, demonstrate expertise, and gain valuable feedback on one's communication style. Helping members improve communication and presentation skills is an important part of leadership development and ultimately career advancement.
Our society provides several opportunities for members seeking to enhance their professional development by serving as faculty for our core continuing education programs. Over the years many of our members have served as faculty sharing content and experience with their fellow members while also enhancing their own professional development portfolio. These faculty also serve to help other members of the society as mentors and advisors to members who would like to become faculty and share their knowledge and expertise.
Many of the members who currently serve as faculty for our core educational programs began their journey by either presenting a poster at our annual conference or making a webinar presentation as part of our monthly continuing education series. Many of them have gone on to serve as faculty for our Risk Management 101 and Leadership Programs and also have contributed as faculty for ASHRM educational programs.
If you are interested in becoming a faculty member, we encourage you to send a copy of your current CV to [email protected] and our staff will pair with you with a member of our current faculty who can help you on your professional development journey.
